1. Brevard Renaissance Fair in Melbourne

The Brevard Renaissance Fair returns in a new location at 3190 New York Ave., Melbourne for six weekends, each with a different theme. With daily stage shows, varieties of foods and treats and artisan merchants with handcrafted wares, the event invites guests to immerse themselves in a unique experience of history and fantasy. Jan. 18 through 20 is “Fantasy Weekend,” Jan. 25 and 26 is “Viking Weekend,” Feb. 1 and 2 is “Pirate Weekend,” Feb. 8 and 9 is “Celtic Weekend,” Feb. 15 and 16 is “Beerfest Weekend” and Feb. 22 and 23 is “Carnivale Weekend.” Single day passes are $29, two-day passes are $53, and VIP Royal Family passes start at $140. 2. Space Coast Seashell Festival in Eau Gallie

The Astronaut Trail Shell Club will host the Space Coast Seashell Festival at the Eau Gallie Civic Center on Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 18 and 19.

The Astronaut Trail Shell Club’s annual Sea Shell Festival will be at the Eau Gallie Civic Center, 1551 Highland Ave., on Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 18 and 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. You’ll find scientific displays of prized specimens as well as vendors offering shells for collectors and crafters, shell jewelry and artistic creations for your home. 3. ‘Mozart & Mother Goose’ concert at the King Center

Brevard Symphony Orchestra will give a “Mozart & Mother Goose” concert at the King Center, 3865 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne, on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 7:30 p.m. The program will feature Mozart’s most famous melody, “Eine kleine Nachtmusik.” The BSO welcomes pianist Sasha Kasman Laude for Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23 and ends on a high note with Ravel’s whimsical “Mother Goose Suite.” Tickets start at $45. 4. ‘Evening of Song’ in Indialantic

The Melbourne Chamber Music Society presents an “Evening of Song” featuring soprano Lucy Fitz Gibbon and pianist Ryan McCullough. The concert will be at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 2030 N. A1A, Indialantic, on Friday, Jan. 17 at 7:30 p.m. The program will include songs by Strauss, Debussy and Rachmaninoff. Tickets are $36 for adults and $10 for students. 5. Cocoa Beach Friday Fest

Downtown Cocoa Beach will hold a family-friendly Friday Fest on the third Friday of every month along Minutemen Causeway from 6 to 10 p.m. There will be live music, food trucks and local artisans showcasing their unique crafts. Admission is free. Visit cocoabeachmainstreet.org.

6. Auditions at Melbourne Civic Theatre

Melbourne Civic Theatre, 817 E. Strawbridge Ave., Melbourne, will hold auditions for the play “Move Over, Mrs. Markham” on Sunday and Monday, Jan. 19 and 20 at 7 p.m. In this madcap farce, three sets of hopeful lovers converge at the Markham’s supposedly empty house on the same night. Needed are four men ages 20 to 65, and five women ages 20 to 65. The audition will consist of readings from the script. The performance dates are March 21 through April 27, 2025. 7. Chris Kahl concert at Green Gables

The presentation at Green Gables, 1501 S. Harbor City Blvd., Melbourne, on Sunday, Jan. 19 from 2 to 3 p.m. will take audiences on a historical journey through the state of Florida. It will feature performances of songs covering historical events and folklore, including Ponce de Leon’s voyage, Henry Flagler’s building of the Florida East Coast Railway, Florida’s ecosystems and more. Original songs come from Chris Kahl’s albums “Orange Blossom Memories” and “Sunshine Kid.” Tickets are $5 for adults or free for ages 12 and younger. Bring your own lawn chair. 8. Bark Brew Fest in Cocoa Village

Bark Brew Fest will be at the Dirty Oar Beer Company, 329 King Street, Cocoa, on Saturday, Jan. 18 from 5 to 7 p.m. Bring your canine companion and enjoy food, drinks, bingo, raffles and more. Proceeds will benefit Labrador Retriever Rescue of Florida (LRROF). All pets must be on a leash, or in appropriate carriers, and have current vaccinations and county tags. Admission is free. 9. Antiques and Collectibles Club in Eau Gallie

The Brevard Antiques and Collectibles Club will hold its monthly meeting at the Eau Gallie Public Library, 1521 Pineapple Ave., on Tuesday, Jan. 21 at 1:30 p.m. The subject will be “Americana” Bring one item for study and discussion. Note that the group  consists of collectors, not dealers, so they do not give appraisals. Call 321-795-7363.

10. Live theater around Brevard

  • ‘Jersey Boys’: The show “Jersey Boys” is at Titusville Playhouse, 301 Julia Street, through Feb. 23. This musical takes audiences behind the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons to discover the secret of a 40-year friendship as the foursome work their way from the streets of New Jersey to the heights of stardom.   • ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’: The drama “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” will be at Surfside Playhouse, 301 Ramp Road, Cocoa Beach, through Jan. 19. This stage adaptation of Ken Kesey’s celebrated novel explores the brutality of life in a mental institution with humor, candor and unforgettable characters. Tickets are $28 to $32.
