Tammy Slaton’s return to reality TV is filled with new beginnings.

In Us Weekly’s exclusive sneak peek of the Tuesday, January 6, season premiere of 1000-Lb. Sisters, TLC cameras are rolling as Tammy has a very important discussion with partner Andrea Dalton.

“I’ve been wanting to ask you something,” Andrea says in a preview. “There’s really no way to say it, but would you want to move in with me for a while?”

Before Tammy shares her answer, she has a few questions about where the pair’s relationship may be heading in the coming months.

“Do you see, like, a long future marriage?” Tammy asks. Andrea replies, “I wouldn’t ask you to move in if I didn’t want it to go into marriage. So what do you think?”

With a smile on her face, Tammy agrees to move in before adding, “I want to be with you.”

“I’m officially moving in with Andrea,” she says in a separate confessional interview. “I’m super excited and kind of relieved, knowing that Andrea and I are on the same page.”

Tammy first revealed she was in a relationship during the season 7 premiere of 1000-Lb. Sisters in April. At the time, Andrea confirmed she met the TLC personality via a dating app, and their first date was at a bowling alley.

“I had just got on there. I wasn’t on there very long and I saw her and she saw me and we just started talking,” she explained. “And it’s been, like, every day since.”

In June, Tammy subtly confirmed she was engaged during an appearance on the “A Creative Chaos” podcast.

As Tammy’s romantic life continues to play out on a new season of 1000-Lb. Sisters, Amy Slaton is experiencing her own love story.

In the official season 8 trailer, Amy is planning her dream wedding to fiancé, Brian Lovvorn, with a surprise twist.

“The wedding is like, in six months. It’s really important for the venue to be haunted because that’s a symbol of our love,” she says. “My family, they don’t want nothing to do with it and neither does Queen Tammy.”

Viewers previously watched Brian propose on 1000-Lb. Sisters inside a haunted house in Henderson, Kentucky. When the episode aired, TLC revealed the proposal took place during the 2024 winter season, or five months after the couple started dating.

“Originally, he slipped a green apple Ring Pop on my finger while I was asleep, about two weeks into our relationship,” Amy previously told People in May. “I was shocked at first, and I said yes but only if the real proposal was in a haunted house on Halloween.”

Although love may be in the air this season, there’s also plenty of tension.

According to TLC, friction between Tammy and Amy is boiling over like never before. Family dynamics, envy and personal growth collide, resulting in plenty of heart, humor and drama.

“I can’t handle her toxic ass no more,” Amy says of her sister while trying to hold back tears in a trailer for the season. “I’m done.”

1000-Lb. Sisters returns to TLC Tuesday, January 6, at 9 p.m. ET.
