This award could easily have gone to Bombay Street Kitchen‘s sister restaurant, Aashirwad. And it’s other sister, Tamarind, has been named here many a time. But the varied menu at this Michelin Bib Gourmand-awarded eatery, which culls from the vast culinary compendium of chef Amit Kumar’s home nation, reflects the wonder we find in sampling street fare when we travel.

Whole fish or bone-in chops from the tandoor. Vibrant curries. Plump dumplings. Frosty falooda to temper the spice of your meal.

While this place is more than suitable for date night, it’s best with a group for more ample sampling. Get out your foodie passport and prepare for a whole mess of stamps. And you don’t even have to leave town.
