Arguably the most difficult category of all in Orlando (and that’s really saying something!), our city is chock so full of incredible options, from food trucks to the nation’s first Michelin-starred venue featuring Vietnamese cuisine, that choosing a “best” is almost preposterous. But since I must, this year’s ribbon goes to Vietnam Cuisine, an exceedingly casual spot where creamy housemade pâté and butter grace the gorgeous bánh mì, the bánh cuốn (rice rolls) are lauded by locals, the broths are hearty and the bún chả ha noi (pork with vermicelli) is a house favorite. As for the rest of the ample menu?

Let’s just say you’ll want to explore. And if you’re not local and just visiting, you’ll want to do the same in the historic (and delicious!) Mills 50 neighborhood before or after your meal.

Digs are casual. Service is friendly (be patient if they’re busy). Feel free to come as you are. Every time you visit. Because you’ll probably want to come back.
