Are you ready for Pride?

It’s June, which means that it’s officially Pride Month! This is a time when people in the LGBTQ+ community — and allies! — come together to celebrate what makes us special, what connects us, and to support one another through challenging times. Oh, and to party a little bit, of course.

Pride Month also means that new Pride products and Pride collections are coming to both in-person and online retailers. Some companies release Pride products that do nothing more than virtue-signal that the company is an “ally” to the community. Thankfully, there are also other companies — some of which are even queer-owned — launching brand-new Pride collections that do end up donating to queer charities and organizations. In other words, selling merch that actually improves the lives of people in our community.

Donald Trump’s win in the 2024 presidential election has prompted many companies to roll back DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) initiatives. In some cases, Pride collections were included in those initiatives that have been scaled back.

So, if you’re looking for Pride Month merch, Pride collections, and/or products that actually give back to the LGBTQ+ community — here’s a list of companies you should check out!
