Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park: Located at 1970 Jonesboro Road in McDonough, this facility has several options for entertainment including laser tag, virtual reality, a zipline, climbing walls, ropes course, trampolines and others with options for food at the park, as well. Pricing starts at $7.99 for a single game of laser tag, but a “Platinum Attraction” bundle ($36.49) provides unlimited laser tag, virtual reality and the zipline.
Take a narrated tour of downtown Atlanta: Guests can take a trip around the city with a 90-minute narrated tour of downtown Atlanta, with some meaningful stops including the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site and the Georgia State Capitol. The cost for the tour is $36.
Road to Tara Museum: Located in Jonesboro, this is the official of “Gone With the Wind.” The site allows guests to relive Rhett and Scarlett’s romance from the film and novel and there are pieces of iconic clothing from the 1939 movie. There are also stories from the 1864 Battle of Jonesboro along with a Civil War exhibit.
JailHouse Brewing Company: JailHouse Brewing Company is a microbrewery, which creates its own beers and sells those beers throughout the state of Georgia. The brewery is open from 5:30-9 p.m. on Thursday, 5:30-10 p.m. on Friday and noon-10 p.m. on Saturday.
Grand Stands Bar and Grill: Guests can find a spot to relax, have a solid bite to eat and an adult beverage or two, or a few (we won’t judge). There are daily specials throughout the week and is located just 4.2 miles away from Atlanta Motor Speedway.
