1. Brevard Renaissance Fair in Melbourne
The Brevard Renaissance Fair continues through Feb. 23 in a new location at 3190 New York Ave., Melbourne, each weekend with a different theme. With daily stage shows, varieties of foods and treats and artisan merchants with handcrafted wares, the event invites guests to immerse themselves in a unique experience of history and fantasy. Jan. 25 and 26 is “Viking Weekend,” Feb. 1 and 2 is “Pirate Weekend,” Feb. 8 and 9 is “Celtic Weekend,” Feb. 15 and 16 is “Beerfest Weekend” and Feb. 22 and 23 is “Carnivale Weekend.” Single day passes are $29, two-day passes are $53, and VIP Royal Family passes start at $140. 2. Murder Mystery dinner party on Merritt Island
Brevard Humane Society hosts a murder mystery dinner party fundraiser at the Moose Lodge, 3150 N. Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 6 p.m. Guests will enjoy an interactive murder mystery experience with the cast of the Cocoa Village Playhouse. Attendees can enjoy dinner catered by Zarella’s Italian & Wood Fired Pizza, while working together to solve a suspenseful crime. In addition to the murder mystery and dinner, attendees are encouraged to come dressed in their best gangster garb for a chance to win a special prize. Proceeds benefit Brevard Humane Society. 3. Psychic Jeffrey Wands in Melbourne
Psychic medium Jeffrey Wands will “read” the audience and hold a question and answer session and a book signing at the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge, 1049 Julia Drive, Melbourne, on Friday, Jan. 24 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 in advance or $45 at the door, and proceeds will benefit Green Gables at Historic Riverview Village. 4. Malpass Brothers concert in Cocoa
Classic country singers The Malpass Brothers and their six-member band are coming to Brevard for a Monday, Jan. 27 concert at the Space Coast Convention Center, 301 Tucker Lane in Cocoa, where they will perform a single 7p.m. show for fans of traditional country music. The duo has now chalked up more than a dozen appearances on the Grand Ole Opry, headlined European tours and in 2024 started hosting their own weekly television show on RFD-TV. Tickets are $37. 5. ‘Annie’ at the King Center
The musical “Annie” comes to the King Center, 3865 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne, on Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 28 and 29, at 7:30 p.m. In the show, Little Orphan Annie reminds audiences that sunshine is right around the corner. This celebration of family, optimism and the American spirit remains the ultimate cure for all the hard knocks life throws your way. Tickets start at $60.50. 6. Planet Parade and Winter Star Party in Melbourne
The Italian American Club and Brevard Astronomical Society host the event at 1471 Cypress Ave., Melbourne, on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 5 p.m. All eight planets are aligned and six of them will be visible through telescopes, which will be set up outdoors. 7. Pickleball monthly mixers in Palm Bay
Ages 18 and older are invited to a pickleball mixer at the Ted Whitlock Community Center, 370 Championship Circle NW, Palm Bay, on the second and last Mondays of every month.
