The 16th annual Native Rhythms Festival will be at Wickham Park, 2500 Parkway Drive, Melbourne, on Friday through Sunday, Nov. 8 through 10, starting at 9 a.m. The three-day festival during Native American Heritage Month honors the culture of the indigenous peoples of the Americas through music, and especially the music of the Native American flute. 2. Indian River Lagoon Day in Melbourne

The City of Melbourne will celebrate the Indian River Lagoon at Front Street Park in Melbourne on Saturday, Nov. 9.

The event celebrating the importance of the Indian River Lagoon will be at Front Street Park, 2210 Front Street, Melbourne, on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Exhibitors will showcase a variety of volunteer opportunities in restoration activities, educational efforts and citizen-science projects. Free kayaking will be provided by Paddling Paradise. There will also be food trucks, music, arts and craft vendors, bounce house and activities for children. A Hook Kids on Fishing clinic will take place from 9 a.m. until noon for kids 5-15 years old. Advance registration is required at anglersforconservation.org. 3. Cocoa Village Concours

The Cocoa Village Concours on Saturday, Nov. 9 will showcase an extensive display of vehicles spanning from the early 1900s to contemporary classics. Visit cocoavillageconcours.com.

Cocoa Village’s annual automotive gathering is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, with the Coastal Auto Rally and Show. There will be nearly 300 vehicles on display in the heart of Cocoa Village, ranging from classic and vintage cars, trucks and motorcycles to modern muscle cars. 4. Indialantic Chamber Singers concerts

The Indialantic Chamber Singers will give a concert, “Memories and Melodies: Celebrating 25 Years of Harmony,” at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 300 Malabar Road SE, Palm Bay, on Friday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. The program will include fall favorites. A second concert will take place at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 106 N. Riverside Drive, Indialantic, on Sunday, Nov. 10 at 3 p.m. Admission is free, but there is a suggested donation of $15. 5. Meet author Lucy Lakestone in Rockledge

6. Art reception in Cocoa Beach

The Studios of Cocoa Beach, 165 Minutemen Causeway, hosts a reception for “Therefore I Create VIII” on Friday, Nov. 8 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Attendees will meet the artists and enjoy wine and refreshments. The exhibition will run from Nov. 5 through Jan. 5, and will feature a diverse selection of local art, including paintings, fused glass art, ceramics, woodwork, jewelry, palm art, surf art, cards and reproductions. 7. Auditions at theaters around Brevard

  • The Henegar Center, 625 E. New Haven Ave., Melbourne, will hold auditions for the musical “My Fair Lady” from 5 to 10 p.m. on Sunday and Monday, Nov. 10 and 11. In the show, Eliza Doolittle is a flower seller with a Cockney accent which keeps her in the lower rungs of society. When Professor Henry Higgins teaches her how to speak like a proper lady, an unlikely friendship flourishes. Performance dates are Jan. 17 through Feb. 9, 2025.   • Melbourne Civic Theatre, 817 E. Strawbridge Ave., Melbourne, will hold auditions for the play “Becky’s New Car” on Sunday and Monday, Nov. 10 and 11 at 7 p.m. Needed are four men ages 20 to 65, and three women ages 20 to 65. In the play, Becky Foster is caught in middle age with no prospects for change until a socially inept and grief-struck millionaire stumbles into her life. 8. ChoZen Artisan Market in Sebastian

ChoZen Eco-Retreat and Sanctuary, 11115 Roseland Road, Sebastian, hosts the ChoZen Artisan Market every second Sunday from October to May from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This monthly event celebrates the interconnectedness of nature, food, and community. Enjoy unique local vendors, sustainable products, artisan goods, fresh, locally sourced foods, and experience a variety of modalities from wellness practitioners and live music. The Great Outdoors RV Resort, 145 Plantation Drive, Titusville, will host an artisan market on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Artisans will offer seasonal decor, jewelry, laser engraving, crochet and knitted items, metal art, nature photos, crystal design shirts and more.
