Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown, who signed a three-year, $96 million contract extension with the team last offseason, showed up to Sunday’s NFC divisional round playoff game in a Honda Accord.

This is also one week after he was seen reading “Inner Excellence” by Jim Murphy on the sidelines during the Eagles’ wild-card playoff victory over the Green Bay Packers

This moment went viral, propelling the book to the top of Amazon’s best-seller list, nearly five years after its May 2020 release.

A Honda Accord is a vehicle with a starting price of around $30,000 to purchase and used editions of the car are listed well under $20,000 depending on where you look.

Brown’s recent actions, from his sideline reading to his choice of transportation, have sparked discussions among fans and analysts, not in a largely negative way either.

This season, the three-time Pro Bowler broke the 1,000-yard threshold for the fifth time in his six NFL seasons.

Brown also hauled in seven touchdown receptions.

The 27-year-old had two catches for 14 yards on a team-high seven targets in the Eagles’ 28-22 win over the Rams in the NFC Divisional Round.

The Eagles will host the NFC East rival Washington Commanders for the right to go to the Super Bowl 2025.

The NFC Championship game will kick off next Sunday at 3 p.m.
