Al Pacino and his on-off girlfriend, Noor Alfallah, made a rare public appearance together ahead of the 2026 Academy Awards.

Pacino, 85, and Alfallah, 32, stepped out at the Charles Finch and Chanel’s annual pre-Oscar dinner on Saturday, March 14, at the Polo Lounge at Los Angeles’ Beverly Hills Hotel.

Pacino and Alfallah twinned in all-black, with The Godfather actor opting for a blazer, beanie and silk scarf. Alfallah, for her part, stunned in a lacy frock that she paired with a gold choker necklace.

The duo were all smiles as they sat beside Javier Bardem, who was also dressed to the nines in a classic tux, at the event.

Pacino and Alfallah were first romantically linked in 2022 despite a 53-year age difference. Us Weekly confirmed the next year that Alfallah was pregnant with their first baby, Pacino’s fourth. (The Scarface star also shares daughter Julie with Jan Tarrant and twins Anton and Olivia with Beverly D’Angelo.)

“I thought it was cool. I thought, ‘Wow, that’s Al Pacino.’ I went to film school, so I wasn’t dumb about who he was,” Alfallah recalled to Vogue Arabia in May 2024 of meeting the legendary actor. “He’s a very talented and unique person, but I had no intention of thinking like, oh, he is going to be my son’s father one day.”

News broke in June 2023 that Alfallah gave birth to son Roman.

“He does text me from time to time,” Pacino told the BBC in October 2024 of his then-16-month-old son. “Everything he does is real. Everything he does is interesting to me. So, we talk. I play the harmonica with him on the other video thing, and we have made this kind of contact. So, it’s fun.”

According to Pacino, he was prioritizing his health to be the best possible father to Roman.

“I want to be around for this child, and I hope I am,” Pacino told the outlet. “I hope I stay healthy, and he knows who his dad is, of course.”

That same month, a spokesperson for Pacino confirmed that he was no longer dating Alfallah.

“Al and Noor are very good friends,” the rep said in an October 2024 statement. “[They] have been for years and are coparents to their son Roman.”

Alfallah recently joined Pacino at the January 7 premiere of Dead Man’s Wire, where they posed on the red carpet with Austin Kolodney, Gus Van Sant, Colman Domingo, Sam Pressman and Vinh Nguyen.
