Angelina Jolie is required to turn over any “unredacted” messages regarding the sale of her and ex-husband Brad Pitt’s Château Miraval winery.

“The Court orders Jolie to produce in full, within 45 calendar days of this order, unredacted versions of the communications exchanged between non-attorneys in the 22 documents identified on Jolie’s February 14, 2025, privilege log,” Wednesday, December 17, court documents obtained by Us Weekly read, granting Pitt’s motion to compel discovery.

A judge also denied Jolie’s request for sanctions.

Pitt, 62, filed a lawsuit in 2022, claiming that Jolie, 50, sold her share of Château Miraval to a subsidiary of Stoli Group despite an alleged agreement against doing so without approval. Jolie, who jointly owned the winery with Pitt while they were married from 2014 to 2016 after dating nearly a decade earlier, denied the claims in a countersuit.

Us later confirmed in June that Pitt requested Jolie hand over her communications, claiming that he was struggling to depose a Stoli Group employee.

“This is another example of the defendant’s repeated opposition to sharing documents that would provide insight,” a source exclusively told Us of Pitt’s petition.

Jolie and Pitt, who share six children, were declared legally single in 2019.

“The past few years have been pretty hard. I’ve been focusing on healing our family,” Jolie told British Vogue in a 2021 profile, referring to the divorce battle. “It’s slowly coming back, like the ice melting and the blood returning to my body. I’m not there. I’m not there yet, but I hope to be. I’m planning on it.”

She added, “I’m looking forward to my 50s. I feel that I’m gonna hit my stride in my fifties. Though we were on the trampoline the other day, and the children said, ‘No, Mom, don’t do that. You’ll hurt yourself.’ And I thought, ‘God, isn’t that funny?’ There was a day I was an action star, and now the kids are telling me to get off the trampoline because I’ll hurt myself.”

Jolie and Pitt finally settled their divorce, following a years-long custody dispute, in December 2024.

“More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time, she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family,” Jolie’s lawyer James Simon told Us in a statement at the time. “This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago. Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over.”

While Jolie has not started dating again, Pitt has since moved on with jewelry designer Ines de Ramon in 2022 and they made their public debut at the British Grand Prix in July 2024.

“No, dude, it’s not that calculated,” Pitt told GQ in July, insinuating that it was a coincidence that the pair hard-launched their romance at a Formula One race when he also starred in the movie F1. “If you’re living … oh my God, how exhausting would that be? If you’re living with making those kinds of calculations? No, life just evolves. Relationships evolve.”
