That’s rich.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s re-election campaign has spent big bucks on posh hotels — shelling out nearly $50,000 on upscale stays in the past seven months — as the democratic socialist darling rallies against the wealthy, The Post has learned.

The New York Democrat’s campaign forked over $47,000 on 45 hotel charges across the country since April, including a $5,044 bill at The Memphian — a bougie boutique hotel in Memphis, with spa services and an extravagant, animal-themed rooftop bar, filings show.

The campaign also racked up bills for $1,599 and $2,694 bill at the 4-star The Candler Hotel in Atlanta, which boasts an acclaimed restaurant and a historic landmark high-rise, according to Federal Election Commission records.

They also spent $2,274 at The Talbott, a charming 4-star hotel in Chicago’s trendy Gold Coast neighborhood.

Rooms at The Memphian generally cost roughly $200 to $600 per night, while a stay at the The Candler Hotel goes for $130 to $600 nightly. Rooms at The Talbott cost $200 to $400 per night.

In Manhattan, the campaign also spent $530.46 at the upscale Thompson Central Park hotel, which boasts “jaw-dropping” views in rooms up to $1,852 per night, and $318 at the Hyatt Seville NoMad on 29th Street – both rated as luxury tier properties.

Hotel bills were for her entire team, and may have included multiple stays for multiple nights.

The cross-country tour comes as the “tax the rich” pol is using her lefty superstar image to try and bolster Democratic candidates ahead of the November midterm elections — while also building her own clout as she toys with a run for president in 2028.

All of the 45 stays were at hotels classified by industry rankings as “luxury,” upscale or upper upscale.

North Country businessman Anthony Constantino — the Republican running for outgoing Rep. Elise Stefanik’s seat in the 21st House District — has pumped $7 million of his own fortune into his race and bashed the Democrats for spending other peoples’ money.

“All Democrats want to do is take donor money and buy nice things for themselves. AOC is a con artist,” Constantino charged.

GOP state comptroller candidate Joseph Hernandez — who fled from Cuba with his parents and went on to have a successful career leading healthcare firms — said of Ocasio-Cortez: “She’s a champagne communist.”

“I grew up in an actual communist country, where the people in charge lived like kings while everyone else waited in line for bread,” he said. “Donor or taxpayer money, they spend it like it’s their own.”

Ocasio-Cortez, who reps parts of The Bronx and Queens, also spent big bucks on luxury car services, including $1,791 for the Queens-based driving service, Golden Class Limo along with $659 for the Northern Virginia-based Singh Car Service, the filings show.

Her campaign shelled out $1,257 for Sleek Shuttle Service in Memphis and $1,406 for chauffeur service, Blacklane.

Overall, Ocasio-Cortez has raised more than $37 million this year for her congressional campaign alone, including $24 million from donors who gave under $200.

The campaign has spent or transferred around $24 million this year and has almost $18 million left on-hand, according to records.

AOC stirred up controversy in 2021, when she wore a glitzy gown emblazoned with the phrase “Tax The Rich” to the Met Gala.

The House Ethics Committee later faulted her for not complying with its regulation on gifts — by accepting more than $3,700 in rented apparel and other during the notorious appearance.

A rep for AOC didn’t return a request for comment Friday.
