Several key matchups in the upcoming 2025 college football season will be televised on Fox.

Week 1 starts off strong with a Cotton Bowl rematch, as Arch Manning and Texas are set to face Ohio State on Aug. 30.

The defending national champions will be back under the Fox spotlight for a Big Ten rivalry clash with Michigan on Nov. 29.

NFL legend and Michigan alum Tom Brady at some fun at his rival’s expense while announcing the matchup:

While kickoff times weren’t announced for either game, Fox has traditionally used Big Noon Kickoff as a way to showcase top matchups.

The Longhorns and Buckeyes both lost key contributors from their previous clash in the 2025 NFL draft, including Matthew Golden, Jaydon Blue, Will Howard, Quinshon Judkins and Emeka Egbuka.

Still, the rematch of the 2024 College Football Playoff semifinal clash should be another hard-fought contest. Texas and Ohio State were tied 14-14 through three quarters during their previous matchup before a fumble returned for a touchdown by Buckeyes defensive end Jack Sawyer sealed the team’s win.

All eyes will be on Manning, who’s set to make his debut as Texas’ full-time starter after operating in a backup role throughout the beginning of his Longhorns career. He’s looked sharp when called upon, completing 67.8 percent of his throws for 939 yards and nine touchdowns compared to two interceptions last season.

It’ll also be intriguing to see how Buckeyes wideout Jeremiah Smith looks in his first sophomore appearance after racking up 1,315 yards and 15 touchdowns as a freshman.

While there’s always extra energy between Ohio State and Michigan given their shared history, their 2024 meeting could also add some fuel to the fire for both teams.

The Wolverines were one of two teams to beat the Buckeyes last season, holding them to a season-low 10 points in a defeat that ultimately prevented them from securing one of the top four CFP berths.

As Ohio State looks to defend its championship in 2025, multiple important games for the team will feature a national audience.
