Who is ‘The Bachelor’ this season? Meet Grant Ellis

Grant Ellis is a 30-year-old day trader raised in New Jersey and currently living in Houston, Texas.

He formerly played basketball at Iona University in New York and Albertus Magnus College in Connecticut and went on to play professionally in Puerto Rico, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic.

“As the Bachelor, Ellis is eager to embark on a journey filled with romance, adventure, and genuine connections,” ABC said in a news release. “He hopes to find a partner who shares his values of loyalty, humor and a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.”

In a video posted by “Good Morning America” following ABC’s announcement in August 2024, Ellis elaborated more on his desired partner and shared that he is looking for someone who is “kind and understanding.”

“I can’t wait for this incredible journey to get kicked off,” Ellis said. “It is going to be so fun, and I hope you guys tune in.”

How far did Grant Ellis make it on ‘The Bachelorette’ with Jenn Tran of Florida?

Grant Ellis was sent home in an emotional exit on the sixth week of the show, one week before the hometowns episode.

Despite declaring he was falling in love with Jenn Tran before the rose ceremony, she did not give him a rose at the end of the night.

“I poured everything out, and it wasn’t good enough,” Grant Ellis said in a confessional afterward. “It just sucks knowing that you feel some way about somebody, and they don’t feel the same about you.”

Is former Florida Gator Jesse Palmer still the host of ‘Bachelor,’ ‘Bachelorette,’ ‘Golden Bachelor’ and ‘Golden Bachelorette?’

Jesse Palmer is returning to host the next season of “The Bachelor.”

Floridians may remember when Palmer played football in the late ’90s for the University of Florida under coach Steve Spurrier. He was one of the team’s quarterbacks and threw 31 touchdown passes in his time playing for the Florida Gators.

Palmer married model Emley Fardo in 2020 and the couple had their first child in January 2024.

What is former Bachelorette, Florida’s Jenn Tran doing now?

Jenn Tran finally got her happy ending!

Following the disastrous season finale of “The Bachelorette,” fans were wondering what was next for Jenn after her public heartbreak from ex-fiance Devin Strader; however, they didn’t have to wait long. She made an appearance on “Good Morning America” the following day to announce she’d be joining the next season of “Dancing with the Stars.”

She was partnered up with pro dancer Sasha Farber. Despite receiving high scores, the pair were eliminated during Week 7 of “Dancing with the Stars” Season 33.

Their onscreen chemistry seemingly made its way off the screen, too. The pair is rumored to be dating after posting several flirty TikToks and being spotted at events together. They have not officially confirmed anything.
