Below Deck Mediterranean producers didn’t let Joe Bradley get away with shaming Gael Cameron for cheating in the wake of his own infidelity.
During the Monday, December 22, episode of the hit Bravo series, Gael admitted she didn’t believe Joe had good intentions after last season, saying, “Joe is a snake. He said we’re cool before and then he’s gone behind my back. So, I just don’t trust him.”
Joe, meanwhile, shared a similar sentiment.
“I still don’t trust her. Last charter season, I didn’t even say this because of Nathan. But she was texting her boyfriend and playing with Nathan,” Joe said. “She cheated. I lose a lot of respect when people cheat. Once a cheat, always a cheat.”
An offscreen producer interjected to remind Joe that one day prior he secretly kissed Kizzi Kitchener, despite dating Victoria SanJuan.
“I’ve got some elements of regret,” Joe said after stumbling over his words multiple times. “But kissing Kizzi, it’s not even in the same realm. I’m actually a single man. That’s very different for me.”
Joe and Victoria formed a connection when he joined halfway through season 10 as she was still mourning the death of her ex-boyfriend Bon. Below Deck Med viewers are familiar with Joe’s past love triangle with Bri Muller and Elena Dubaich.
“My message is I’m single and if you want to have a bit of fun and give me the same energy that it just gets a bit chaotic,” Joe exclusively told Us Weekly in November about returning to the franchise. “But I’m your friend at the end of the day, so I’ve still got contact with Elena and I am still in contact with Bri.”
He continued, “We’re friends and we’re young and we’re in a closed environment. It’s going to happen. But I’ve got contact with everyone and I’ve got no malicious intentions.”
Joe joked he learned “absolutely nothing” from his drama with Bri and Elena, adding, “To answer that question without a smile on my face, [my love life this season] was just chaos.”
Before Joe’s infidelity played out on screen, Victoria also broke her silence on where they stand now.
“Joe and I will always be cordial and will always be professional. But I don’t really consider him part of my friend group,” she told Us earlier this month. “The men I keep in my friend group, I admire them because they’re more honest, have self control, hold themselves accountable and have respect — those kinds of qualities.”
Victoria hinted at what caused their falling out, adding, “So I wish him all the best. I think he is a lovely human but I think he has got a lot to learn from his mistakes — if he’s willing to learn from them.”
Below Deck Med airs on Bravo Mondays at 8 p.m. ET. New episodes stream the next day on Peacock.
