ALT Fragrances is an ‘if you know, you know’ brand that makes spot-on replications of some of the most sought-after expensive perfumes. I personally think Crystal No. 23 is one of the best, and Frankel agrees.

“Fall is when I want to smell a little richer. I love an expensive fragrance as much as the next rich b—h, and Crystal No. 23 gives me my Baccarat Rouge fix,” Frankel wrote on Instagram. “Whatever your expensive scent is, ALT probably has a version of it.”
Much like the scent it was inspired by, Crystal No. 23 features an opulent mix of saffron-laced amber that becomes sensual with heady jasmine and grounding cedar. Despite the affordable price, the perfume lasts an extremely long time too — upwards of 12 hours — because it’s an extrait de parfum rather than an eau de parfum, meaning it has a higher fragrance oil concentration for better staying power.
Unless you’re interacting with a trained nose (aka, a professional perfumer), no one will be able to tell this isn’t Baccarat Rouge 540. People will simply know you smell fancy — and they’ll most likely tell you. So many reviewers say Crystal No. 23 is a compliment magnet. “This really smells amazing. A little bit goes a long way and lasts through the day,” one happy shopper says. “I have literally received compliments on how this smells. Strangers sniff me and smile.”
