Bill Belichick is set to speak out, nearly three weeks after his controversial interview on CBS Sunday Morning.
The North Carolina football coach, 73, will appear on Good Morning America on Friday, May 16 in a live interview with co-host Michael Strahan, ABC announced.
The interview is pegged to the legendary NFL coach’s new book, The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football — and comes as Belichick’s relationship with 24-year-old Jordon Hudson continues to make headlines.
On Friday, May 9, hours after a report claimed that UNC had banned the former college cheerleader from its football facilities, the university pushed back.
In the statement, obtained by PEOPLE, the school said the news — which broke on Pablo Torre Finds Out — was “false.”

“While Jordon Hudson is not an employee at the University or Carolina Athletics, she is welcome to the Carolina Football facilities,” the school’s statement said.
Torre, an ESPN broadcaster, doubled down about the school’s response regarding his reporting, which he said which was based on 11 sources who provided information to him about behind-the-scenes goings-on at the university.
Elsewhere in the podcast, Torre shared another piece of news regarding the couple: Belichick’s family is reportedly concerned about the trajectory and end game regarding the relationship.
“Bill Belichick’s family is extraordinarily concerned about what has transpired,” Torre said. “One Belichick family source told me, ‘There is deep worry for how detrimental Jordon can be for not just North Carolina but Bill’s legacy, reputation — everything he has built and worked for over decades.’ ”
Meanwhile, over the weekend, Belichick looked on from the front row as Hudson competed in the 2025 Miss Maine USA pageant.

The Hancock, Maine native was named second runner-up in the competition. Last year, Hudson finished first runner-up.
In comments made from the stage, Hudson may have seemingly alluded to the spotlight on her relationship with the former New England Patriots coach.
“I hope those watching this find the strength to push through whatever it is and embody that hate never wins,” she said.
