Bloomingdale’s threw a celebrity-packed party to celebrate the launch of “From Italy, With Love,” a two-month retail event celebrating the best of the country’s fashion, design and cuisine. 

The department store’s CEO Olivier Bron teamed with Air Mail editor Graydon Carter on the bash held at the Academy Mansion in Manhattan on Thursday. The soirée was co-hosted by Isabella Rossellini and “The Gilded Age” stars Christine Baranski and Morgan Spector, and attended by Bette Midler, “The Real Housewives of New York City” star Sai De Silva, Tiffany Haddis​​h, Bijou Phillips, Nicky Hilton, Stacey Bendet, Ivy Getty and many other bold-facers.  

The iconic retailer is unveiling some 30 new brands, along with more than 300 exclusive products from over 150 labels. An array of stylish in-store events ranges from Missoni’s customization and embroidery activation to a vintage photo booth pop-up featuring Prada and Versace sunglasses. 

“We’ve gathered the best of Italian brands and some of our own favorite partners to create a campaign that truly embodies the rich creativity and culture of Italy,” says Janelle Lloyd, a women’s fashion director at Bloomingdale’s.

For the first time, the store is carrying ready-to-wear by La DoubleJ, Fendi and Etro, along with 10 new brands, including Il Bisonte and Artico. Among the finds: exclusive pieces from Max Mara, Ferragamo and Valentino, plus a one-of-a-kind Giambattista Valli dress inspired by his love of travel. 

The store will also stock exclusive collabs, such as AC Milano x Off White, Rag & Bone x Lucali, Dave’s New York x Roy Rogers, and Kartell x Missoni, and ten new brands including Gallia Knitwear, Joshua Sanders, Il Bisonte, Artico, The Andamane, Vibi Venezia, and Paris Texas.

Bloomingdale’s teamed up with the famed Salone del Mobile Milano on an installation. Called “Italian Design: from Classic to Contemporary,” it showcases 23 Italian design brands that are exhibitors at the international furniture fair. 

Hungry yet? Head to Il Mercato, the Italian pantry on the main floor, for homemade pasta, gourmet sauces, olive oils and coffee curated by region, from partners such as De’Longhi, Il Buco Vita, and Giadzy.
