Bobby Flay and co-star Brooke Williamson are no longer just co-stars. The longtime friends, who work together on the Food Network series Bobby’s Triple Threat, have officially taken their relationship to the next level.
Sources close to Flay and the Top Chef season 14 winner confirmed their couple status. “They have been friends for a while and recently decided to jump in,” an insider told People. “Her divorce last year probably gave them some additional shared experiences, and over the last few weeks, love bloomed.”
Williamson made her red carpet debut with Flay last week when the pair appeared at Los Angeles’ No Kid Hungry Dinner, where she was being honored. While fans thought it was nothing more than a friendly co-star dynamic at the time, Flay reportedly flew to LA to surprise his chef girlfriend.
“It was very sweet,” the source said of his trip to see Williamson.
Fan reactions to the new pairing were, well, mixed. “Did not see that coming. I always thought there was a vibe between her and Michael Voltaggio…….” one person wrote on X, while another commented, “I knew it!!! I called it last year. So obvious.”
Some were not exactly thrilled about the new relationship, either. “Yikes!” one user tweeted. “Horrible match-up!” another chimed in.
Williamson and her now ex-husband, with whom she shares one son, separated two years ago. They finalized their divorce in 2024. Flay, meanwhile, ended his three-year relationship with Christina Pérez that same year. He was previously married three times and shares his daughter Sophie Flay with his second wife, Kate Connelly.
Late last year, he opened up about the prospect of a fourth marriage. “Is it off the table?” he said on Kristin Cavallari’s podcast. “If you asked me today, I’d say probably, yes. I don’t know.”
“For me, it hasn’t been the best situation,” he added. “That said, I don’t feel like I need to do it again. I have an amazing daughter who is 28 years old. I’m not having any more kids, as far as I know.”
His stance on marriage doesn’t mean he’s closed off to a serious relationship. “I would be interested in a life partner for sure,” he said. “But I don’t think it necessarily needs the documentation.” Looks like he may have found just that with Williamson.
