Brandi Glanville is tired of pretending everything is OK when it comes to her overall health and wellness.

“I’ve been faking it,” Glanville, 52, wrote in a post shared via X on Thursday, March 6. “I’m f—ing miserable. My best friend’s been in the ICU for 2 weeks & isn’t getting better. My face is worse than ever. It’s literally melted away. When drs at cedars put me on IV antibiotics & fungal medication I was getting better I looked normal but I couldn’t afford to stay on them. I was forced to see drs outside my insurance because the drs at Kaiser had no clue.”

In December 2024, Glanville claimed she had spent $70,000 to treat what she described as a facial parasite.
“Honestly, I have so many doctors and I’ve had so many tests … I did lab work for $10,000,” the reality star told Entertainment Tonight at the time. “I ran every test under the sun… They’re like, ‘It could be a parasite.’ That’s, you know, new.”

Glanville believes she contracted the paradise while filming for Bravo.

“We had food sitting for hours on end and some of it was meat, in Morocco,” she explained to the outlet, adding that she started to notice symptoms once she returned home. “Six months after I got back from Morocco, I started having this speaking thing and the swelling up thing — it started in July and we’re still here trying to figure it out.”

Glanville went on to explain that she could “mess with” the parasite in her face, adding that it would move and look like “tiny bubbles bursting” on her skin.

“What happened? I wish I knew I’ve been in & out of the hospital this passed year ½ spent almost every dollar I have trying to figure it out,” she wrote in a social media post at the time. “Some Dr.’s say I have a paradise that jumps around my face. Some say it’s stress induced edema. I personally say it’s Bravo.”

Last year, Dubrow told TMZ he doesn’t believe Glanville has a facial parasite. “I saw one of her interviews and I’ve seen the picture of her, the one where she is swollen, the one where she is really deflated with the irregular skin,” he said at the time. “Here’s the thing, here’s what Brandi really needs to focus on… and it’s not her fault, it’s her doctor’s fault. Brandi needs a diagnosis.”

One month later, in January, Glanville sparked concern online after she shared a video in which she was seen visibly shaking while undergoing treatment for the apparent facial parasite.

“OK so about 5 years ago the boys & I had black mold poisoning from a toxic house we lived in we got a six figure settlement but this is CRAZY!” Glanville wrote via X, referring to a previous health-related incident. “I’m on my emphatic drainage machine. ⁦@DrDubrow⁩ let’s get this f–ker.”

In a separate post, Glanville added that her doctor also took four “tiny biopsies” from her face and neck “so we can continue to get better.”

On Thursday, Glanville told her fans that she “needs” her life to change, presumably as a result of her health-related struggles.

“That is my real life health update,” she continued.
