Lisa Vanderpump, star of Vanderpump Rules, announced today that her father, John Vanderpump, has died.

The announcement came from an Instagram post on Lisa’s official account.

“I will miss you daddy…Brokenhearted. Rest in peace.🙏💗” she captioned the post. The photo she used was a repost from 2022, from when she was visiting her father in the U.K.

Friends and fans flooded the comment section with prayers, well-wishes, and condolences for the family.

Vanderpump Rules alum and president of The Reality Network Peter Madrigal commented, “Sorry for your loss Lisa❤️.”

Scheana Shay, another member of the show, commented, “So sorry for your loss Lisa. Sending you lots of love🙏🩷,” while VPR‘s James Kennedy wrote, “So sorry Lisa sending my condolences and love♥️.”

Other stars in the Bravo community came together to support Vanderpump as well.

“So sorry for your loss 🙏🩷,” Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice commented under the post.

John’s cause of death has not yet been announced.

Lisa is no stranger to grief. Her mother, Jean Vanderpump, died at the age of 84 back in 2019, per Bravo’s website. Lisa also lost her brother, Mark, in 2018 to suicide, an experience she has been very vocal about.

After the loss of her brother, Vanderpump decided not to return to RHOBH for the season.

“I started to realize the fragility of life and what I wanted to achieve while I’m still here,” she told People in 2019. “Everything shifted in my brain. I needed the support of friends. And I didn’t have room in my life for negativity.”

Vanderpump Rules is currently on hiatus following the Season 11 three-part season finale, which aired in May.

Vanderpump Rules is on hiatus just for a little bit,” Lisa confirmed to E! News in May. “Let it breathe. I think we were going around in circles for a little bit.”
