Cardi B said she was drunk while commentating during the Super Bowl 2026 Flag Football Game Saturday night in Santa Clara, Calif.
The rapper — who was at Levi’s Stadium on Sunday to support boyfriend Stefon Diggs as the Patriots take on the Seattle Seahawks in the big game — explained that she had shots at a Super Bowl party before getting on the mic.
“I just came from a party,” Cardi said alongside fellow commentators Andrew Hawkins, Brenda Song, and Agent00 at the flag football game.
“I took like 7 shots. I’m lit. Y’all are talkin to me and I’m drunk as a [motherf–cker].
“… I went to all the parties honey… getting drunk, taking their free drinks and s–t.”
At one point, Cardi, who said she drank Don Julio tequila, asked her fellow commentators, “Am I cussing too much?”
Before that, Cardi took shots on stage during her performance at Michael Rubin’s annual Fanatics Super Bowl day party.
At one point Saturday, Cardi crossed paths with a humanoid robot and gave it a lap dance on the sidewalk outside of InterContinental hotel, as seen in a video posted by TMZ.
The Grammy winner’s ankle buckled in her sky high Louboutins and she fell after seeing the robot moving toward her.
Cardi was helped to her feet by a bunch of bystanders and appeared unharmed.
She wasn’t happy with TMZ after seeing the now viral video and photos of her with the robot.
“Delete or I will sue …immediately,” she replied to a tweet by TMZ that included photos of her and the robot.
“I’m callin Harvey !” she added in response to the video, referring to Harvey Levin, founder of TMZ.
Cardi’s performance at the Fanatics party sparked buzz that she could be a surprise addition to Bad Bunny’s halftime performance at Super Bowl 2026.
They collaborated on the 2018 song, “I Like It” off Cardi’s debut album, “Invasion of Privacy,” which won her a Grammy.
