Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson said it’s “too late” to cancel his and Sharelle Rosado’s wedding, set for February 2025, after their recent split.

During the latest installment of his and Shannon Sharpe’s “Nightcap” podcast, the former NFL wideout explained why he refuses to call off his wedding — while Sharpe declared he will object if its not Rosado at the altar.

“You still got your suit for the wedding?” Johnson said.

“I do,” Sharpe responded.

“Hey, s–t looking grim… I know one thing, I’m getting married come February, you hear me,” Johnson said. “I’m getting married in February. I don’t know who the f–k it’s going to be, but when that God damn day come, I’m walking down the aisle with somebody

“… Bro, i’m 46 years old, man, I ain’t got any time to be playing. What are you trying to do? Whoever it’s going to be, I’m walking down that mother f–king aisle in February.”

That’s when Sharpe interjected.

“Well I aint going. If it ain’t my niece, I ain’t going,” he said, referring to Rosado.

“You know what, if you don’t show up that’s fine. .. s–t, boy. I hate for us to fall out now,” Johnson quipped.

“I’ll tell you what, when the minister says, ‘Does anybody object, speak now or forever hold your peace’ — ‘I object, I said it, I object! This ain’t right!’

“I’ve known Relle for two years. She’s a good woman, Ocho!”

It’s unclear why Johnson and Rosada, who share 2-year-old daughter Serenity, broke up.

Rosado, 37, confirmed their split last month, stating on X that Johnson, 46, “is a free man.”

The former “Selling Tampa” star said at the time she was being tagged in a bunch of posts on social media.

Sharpe joked that if Johnson marries someone else, he will tell the bride that she is not accepted by the “Nightcap” family.

“Unc, I know how you feel but sometimes in life… s–t looking kinda grim right now, boy. So you might as well get it through your head, get it through your skull, it might not be who you wanted,” Johnson said.

“But I’m walking down that aisle come God damn February because I’m going to be old. I aint got time to play.”

Johnson explained that he already paid a deposit for some big name entertainers at his wedding.

“I’m having an open bar, I got three people performing,” he said, adding that he has Brian McKnight, Anthony Hamilton and John Legend set to perform. “It’s too late now. It’s too late.”

Johnson and Rosado went public with their romance in November 2020 and got engaged in January 2023.
