2. Indiana (12-0)
Last Week: 2

The Hoosiers are headed to the Big Ten Championship Game after crushing Purdue 56-3 on Friday night. Coach Curt Cignetti’s ground game gashed the Boilermakers for 355 yards, and quarterback Fernando Mendoza accounted for three overall scores. Week 14 Result: Defeated Georgia Tech

Georgia won its eighth in a row over rival Georgia Tech with a 16-6 victory on Friday. Quarterback Gunner Stockton didn’t have much success through the air, but the Bulldogs leaned heavily on their ground game (190 yards) and a standout defensive effort to hold off the Yellow Jackets.

4. Oregon (11-1)
Last Week: 5
Week 14 Result: Defeated Washington

Quarterback Dante Moore threw for 286 yards and accounted for two overall touchdowns in a 26-14 victory over Washington. The Ducks have won at least 11 games in each of the last three seasons under coach Dan Lanning. Tuesday night’s rankings are key for Oregon’s hopes of a first-round bye. But even if Lanning’s team is outside the top four, a home playoff game at Autzen Stadium would be a huge advantage.

7. Texas A&M (11-1)

Coach Mike Elko’s team led 10-3 at the half but allowed the Longhorns to outscore them 24-7 in a 27-17 outcome. Texas A&M’s defense gave up too many big plays in the loss, while the offense stalled in the final two quarters.
