Dave Portnoy tried to rally the troops during halftime, popping onto social media to give a state of the Patriots.

New England went into halftime down 9-0 after its offense struggled mightily in Super Bowl 2026.

“Listen, we’ve got 50 yards of offense, not going to win Super Bowls that way. Drake [Maye] doesn’t look comfortable,” Portnoy said in the video. “He doesn’t look comfortable. A couple bad throws. The heat is getting to him. Defense looks lights out. Sam Darnold is seeing ghosts. We could have a bunch of tunrovers if we could put any game pressure. Nine points is nothing if we get the ball. We gotta make adjustments.

“Seattle can’t feel good. We can’t feel good. I’m telling you this, if Sam Darnold has to throw, he’s going to give us one to three interceptions in the second half. He’s looked awful, but our offense looks like trash.”

Portnoy is back at the Super Bowl for the first time since he was kicked out in 2019.

“We gotta get the ball. Get points,” he continued. “If we score on that first drive – anything. Three, seven, this is Lombardi No. 7. A lot of football left. Defensive war, but I’m telling you, Sammy boy is seeing ghosts. I’ve seen it before and if we can get a score out of the half, we’re going to win this game.”
