Love Is Blind season 10 ended with a bang after the remaining pod couples made it to the altar.
Warning: This post has spoilers for Love Is Blind season 10.
Three couples — Devonta Anderson and Brittany Wicker, Brianna McNees and Connor Spies, as well as Chris Fusco and Jessica Barrett — called off their engagements even before the big day.
“I think that [Devonta] was processing so much emotionally with the loss of his grandfather, it would be like sometimes he was so in [and] ready to build this life together, and we were on the same page that we were in the pods,” Brittany exclusively told Us Weekly ahead of the Wednesday, March 4, finale. “We were very much in alignment, and then there would be days where he would just wake up and he was feeling the weight of the world and everything that was happening, and I would feel that in return.”
Despite the breakups, half of the remaining four pairs who made it to the altar joined the ranks of successful Love Is Blind marriages. Keep scrolling to see where each Ohio-based couple ended up:
Christine Hamilton and Victor St. John
Christine Hamilton and Victor St. John didn’t go on the cast’s Mexico trip over budget constraints, but their romance still went from strength to strength throughout the experiment. In the end, Christine and Victor both chose to get married.
“You’re a special woman, and you’re more than that: you’re my woman,” Victor said in his vows. “You’re my rib, and I do.”
He later called their wedding day “the best day of [his] life times 10” in a confessional.
“[I] never felt a love like this,” Victor gushed. “My forever. We’re merging the families with my wife. That’s what I’m looking forward to.”
Emma Betsinger and Mike Gibney
While Emma Betsinger was hesitant about whether or not she pictured herself having kids, her love for Mike Gibney was too strong to walk away from on their wedding day and she said yes. Mike, however, revealed he wasn’t ready to get married over Emma’s hesitation about becoming a mother.
“It’s hard, [and] I’m sorry,” Mike said at the altar, later telling his friends that he wants a wife who’s “gonna have a family” when Emma was only “50-50” now.
Ashley Carpenter and Alex Henderson
After a series of ups and downs after leaving the pods, Ashley Carpenter wasn’t surprised that Alex Henderson chose not to get married.
“I know your answer and it doesn’t matter to me,” Ashley told her groom before he could even respond. “I’m not choosing you either. When we were in the pods, all of our stories [and] all of our future plans aligned perfectly. However, when we left the pods there was no intimacy [and] there were no questions you had for me. I felt like as soon as we moved into the apartment, we were roommates. Something always felt off.”
Ashley claimed that she felt Alex “missed the mark” when it came to honesty, walking away from the former soccer player for good.
“I know I deserve something extraordinary, so it is a no from me today,” she concluded, to which Alex accepted Ashley’s perspective but disagreed about his apparent lack of integrity.
“From my end, it’s mutual,” he said, later offering a private toast to “my integrity” with his friends after the ceremony.
Amber Morrison and Jordan Faeth
After single mom Amber Morrison revealed in a confessional that her wedding day felt like a “fairy tale,” she confidently said yes at the altar. Jordan Faeth, luckily for her, agreed.
“I want to answer my heart and say that I do,” Jordan said before sealing their nuptials with a kiss. “I feel very certain. My sister told me to follow my heart, so I did.”
Amber’s 7-year-old daughter, Emma, served as the flower girl and was seen wiping away tears during the ceremony.
Devonta Anderson and Brittany Wicker
Despite picking out their full wedding wardrobe in advance, Brittany Wicker and Devonta Anderson called off their nuptials before making it to the altar.
“It was kind of shocking,” Brittany said in a confessional. “Right now, I feel like everything that I want isn’t happening right now.”
Devonta, meanwhile, had “self-doubt” about whether he could love Brittany in a way that she needed from her husband.
“I feel like we’re still together, and we’re just taking a slight pause on when we actually get married,” Brittany told Devonta. “I think when it comes to you feeling more comfortable with a prenup. For me, say we would have got married today, I was willing to make adjustments to what I believe. We’re still gonna be together. We’re still engaged. I do see [us] 100 percent marrying each other.”
Devonta later revealed in a confessional that he wasn’t sure whether Brittany was his “forever person.”
“The more I’m clinged onto or the more I’m pressured, the harder I push back,” he said. “She is sometimes like a shadow to me and sometimes I’m, like, ‘Just wait out there, I’ll be right back. I’m just going to change my shirt.’ It’s something I don’t want to keep dragging down the road if it’s not going to work out.”
Brianna McNees and Connor Spies
Brianna “Bri” McNees broke up with Connor Spies days before the big day after questioning whether he would be presentable enough as a husband. Still, Connor felt lucky to have gone through the pod experiment with Bri by his side.
Chris Fusco and Jessica Barrett
Chris Fusco and Jessica Barrett broke up before their wedding day after Chris claimed he wasn’t physically attracted to his almost-bride.
