DJ Burns is getting his chance.

After going undrafted, he is signing with the Cavaliers to join their Summer League roster, according to Cleveland.com.

Burns emerged as one of college basketball’s top attractions last year, when he led No. 11-seeded North Carolina State to the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament.

He powered the Wolfpack to an ACC Tournament title before that to earn a bid to the Big Dance.

He averaged 12.9 points per game last year.

His burly physique made him a fan favorite, as did his affable personality.

In May, he told The Athletic’s Shams Charania that he had lost 45 pounds in order to improve his draft stock.

“There was a big deal made about his size, his frame, his weight,” Charania said. “I saw him at the Pro Day yesterday, he looked totally different. … He told me no Ozempic, he said he’s been doing workouts four days a week at 5 a.m.”
