Donald Trump’s self-proclaimed oldest supporter, a 105-year-old grandmother whose social media videos supporting the president-elect have gone viral, is dying to meet the once and future commander in chief before “her time is up,” according to family members.
Rosalie Cianelli, who will turn 106 in December, has racked up millions of views on TikTok fangirling over the incoming president.
Cianelli became an internet sensation this year with the help of her granddaughter, Julie Cestaro, who posts videos of the centenarian, often in a MAGA hat or other patriotic clothing, on her account, which amassed more than 130,000 followers.
“She says Trump was our only option to save America,” Cestaro, who lives in Connecticut, told What’s The Jam.
“Now that the election is over she’s hoping to meet Trump before her time is up,” she said.
In one chipper clip posted the Wednesday after Election Day, Cianelli congratulated Trump “on his historic victory.”
“[There are] great opportunities ahead of us as a country with you sitting in the White House chair. We’re looking forward to another four years,” the grandmother said while sporting red, white and blue clothing and a gold “Trump” necklace
Cianelli has followed politics her whole life and became enamored with Trump, who won a sweeping victory over Vice President Kamala Harris last week, her granddaughter said.
Trump’s campaign team caught wind of Cianelli’s videos and presented her with a Make America Great Again hat — signed by The Don himself.
In a video, the grandma is handed the gift from her son, Peter Cianelli, while sitting in her granddaughter’s car
“Donald J. Trump to Rosalie Cianelli. What could this be?” he teases as he opens the package, revealing the red cap.
“Oh my God, it is autographed. Look at this,” he says, showing her the hat as her jaw drops.
Trump also penned Cianelli a letter, thanking her for her support.
“Dearest President Trump, I can’t thank you enough for this letter and the autographed hat,” Cianelli says into the camera later in the video.
“I love it. I’m going to frame my letter, and treasure my hat.”
Now, she wants to meet the incoming leader face — and says she’ll continue making videos until that dream comes true.
