A drag queen performing at a New Orleans bar sparked outrage by miming the Butler, Pa. assassination attempt of President Trump, according to a viral video.

In a clip of a drag show posted online by Libs of TikTok, a drag queen in a black cowboy-style hat and wearing a leather ensemble forms a gun with their hands directed first at the audience.

The drag queen then turns toward a screen set behind a small stage that plays a clip of the moment Trump was shot in the ear by a would-be assassin at the Butler Farm Show grounds on July 13.

The performer makes firing machinations with their hands — as if they themselves were shooting at the president.

Tackily, the performance is set to Rihanna’s song “Man Down,” and highlights the lyrics, “I pulled out that gun.”

It is not clear which bar in New Orleans hosted the controversial drag show.

The gauche act left many social media users fuming — including many who believe the performer broke the law.

Several comments on the video — which has received over 3.5 million views — simply tagged the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Secret Service as if to alert them to a credible threat against the president.

“That is a direct threat! Arrest her now,” one concerned commenter wrote.

“This is just ridiculous. I don’t care what side of the aisle you are on. GIving this type of lunacy a platform is disgusting and dangerous,” another user wrote under the popular X account.

“Normally, I would say that clearly this is ‘art’ and covered under 1A rights, but this crosses the line in so many ways,” one user with an American flag icon in their name wrote.

“It’s entertainment folks. Lighten up. Remember tolerance goes both ways now,” a contrarian suggested.

Other users recalled the mass of tasteless and violent art generated as a result of Trump’s first presidential election victory in 2016.

“D-List” actress Kathy Griffin controversially held up a fake severed head of Trump in a 2017 photoshoot.

Professional spokesperson and occasional rapper Snoop Dogg also famously made a mock-gun firing motion at a person depicting Trump in a 2017 music video.

The Doggfather has changed his tune since then — performing at one of President Trump’s inauguration celebrations last month.

“We gotta learn to pick each other up instead of pulling each other down,” Snoop Dogg said after receiving backlash for his 2025 performance online.

The Super Bowl will be played in New Orleans on Sunday with Trump set to become the first sitting commander in chief to attend the game.
