A recent Anthony Davis prank sent Draymond Green into orbit.
The Mavericks star played the gag on his NBA colleague as part of his new “Foul Play with Anthony Davis” show, and the bit was so believable, Green almost socked a man over it all.
Davis, with the help of LeBron James and Rich Paul, lured Green into a fake meeting about an investment opportunity, and initially, the Warriors forward was calm and cool as actors told him about a wild venture involving mall psychics.
Green looked interested despite some of the performers’ outlandish dialogue — and Davis and James giggled at the sight while watching everything unfold on hidden cameras.
Things went sideways, though, when the cast started accusing Green of being too broke for their business.
The actors asked for $100 million from the basketball player, and when he said he didn’t have it, they chided him.
Moments later, Green started making threats.
“I’m going to leave here,” a clearly ticked-off Green said. “Because I will f—k you up. For sure.”
He then added he would punch another one of the men “in the f—king nose.”
Thankfully, Davis and James raced in and told him it was all a joke before things turned violent.
“Hey,” Davis said as he grabbed his pal, “you just got played.”
Green ended up being a good sport about it and shared a big laugh with his friends. He eventually looked into a camera and admitted, “I am Draymond Green and I just got played.”
Green shouldn’t feel to bad about getting got, WNBA player Rickea Jackson was also fooled by Davis later in the TBS show’s debut on Monday night.
