Drew Barrymore is spearheading what’s sure to be the next hottest cooking trend: Scissoring your food.

On this morning’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, the actress welcomed Food Network star Sunny Anderson to join her and Ross Mathews at the Drew’s News desk, where they went over the latest food-related headlines.

According to the trio, the newest food craze is a “chopped sandwich,” which is simply a chopped version of classic sandwiches like Reubens and BLTs. The delicacy has become so famous that patrons have been waiting hours in line to get their hands on one at a Manhattan sandwich shop.

“I’ve had a chopped sandwich. To me, it’s just a chopped salad with bread,” Anderson said.

The professional cook even offered a DIY way for foodies to make the famed sandwich at home without the added mess — or needing to wait in a long line.

“If you’re gonna do a chopped salad or a sandwich at home, [use] scissors,” she explained. “Because when you watch them do it at the deli, they’re all chopping it on the deli sheet and it gets really messy. Who wants to do that at home?”

Anderson continued, “So just get a bowl, get all of your ingredients, chop them with your scissors over a bowl, and then you can put them into your sandwich without all that mess.”

Barrymore then added, “Scissoring your food — I’m here for that.”

The host, who quickly realized what she had implied, joined Mathews in cringing her face.

“Not in that way,” Barrymore clarified, before adding, “Maybe I did mean it in that way.”

That wasn’t the only NSFW innuendo Barrymore made about food today. While speaking with The Bear actor Matty Matheson about his new cookbook, Barrymore joked that she wanted to “motorboat” all of his recipes.

“That’s what we designed it for,” Matheson said. “It’s a motorboat situation. It’s a giant lake and there are lots of different boats. And you can motorboat them.”
