LOS ANGELES — Like many others scattered throughout the NBA, Jordan Clarkson’s greatest team success occurred alongside LeBron James.

They were teammates during James’ final season in Cleveland, when Clarkson was a reserve for a 2018 Finals run that ended with another defeat to the Warriors.

They will meet again for Sunday’s New York-L.A. matinee showdown under much different circumstances — with James on the Lakers and creeping toward retirement, and Clarkson out of the Knicks rotation.

Appreciation from Clarkson hasn’t diminished, however.
