After falling in love with Ezra Frech, Dancing With the Stars fans better prepare to embrace his entire family.

As Frech continues to impress viewers and judges on season 35 of ABC’s competition show, the Paralympian is ready to celebrate Dedication Night on October 20, 2026, by honoring his mom, Bahar Soomekh.

“I’m here with my mother — my best friend, my therapist, life coach and now dance partner,” Frech teased via Instagram on October 18, 2026, from rehearsals. “Welcome to my work. This is my office.”

During the themed week, Frech and his DWTS partner, Daniella Karagach, will deliver a must-see contemporary dance to “Bloodline” by Mon Rovia.

While the number will be dedicated to Soomekh, she’s not the only supportive family member rooting for Frech all season long. Keep reading to meet the athlete’s biggest supporters:

Ezra Frech’s Mom: Bahar Soomekh

Soomekh is a mother of three who has found success as an actress, public speaking coach and real estate agent.

Her breakout role was as Dorri in the 2004 film Crash before she landed roles on the small screen in projects like JAG, Without a Trace, Ghost Whisperer, Castle and Parenthood.

Some of her most rewarding work involves serving as cofounder of the Los Angeles-based nonprofit Angel City Sports, which provides year-round adaptive and Paralympic sports programming.

In between her busy jobs, you can likely find Soomekh cheering on Frech in the ballroom.

“Feeling very emotional right now!!! We are a few hours away and my heart ♥️ is bursting out of my body 💥.”  Soomekh wrote via Instagram in September 2026. “LET’S FRECH’N GOOOOO!!!!”

Ezra Frech’s Dad: Clayton Frech

In his professional life, the CEO of Angel City Sports has created Vitium Productions, which is dedicated to sharing stories from the adaptive and Paralympic sports community.

While the UCLA and UC Santa Barbara grad is proud of his career, his greatest prize may be raising three kids who have learned the value of love and acceptance.

“Growing up with Ezra and lots of others in our community that are part of our network of family and friends, they know a bunch of people in wheelchairs. They know amputees,” Clayton shared with the Special Fathers Network. “They just don’t flinch when they see somebody in a wheelchair. So that’s cool. They will definitely grow up to be more understanding and empathetic of people with differences.”

Ezra Frech’s Brothers: Gabriel Frech and Elijah Frech

According to Instagram, Gabriel was part of the United States Senate Page Program, which introduces students from diverse backgrounds to many experiences in the nation’s capital.

“Thank you to @senadamschiff for nominating me and @brentwoodschool for supporting me,” Gabriel previously wrote via Instagram in September 2026.

While Elijah is private on social media, his Instagram confirms he’s a high school student in Los Angeles.
