Justin Herbert, who suffered a lower right leg injury in Los Angeles’ 26-3 win over the Carolina Panthers, had negative X-rays on Monday after playing the whole game against Carolina. I would expect Herbert to play, and the fact that the Chargers are staying in Charlotte this week instead of flying back to the West Coast makes everything easier to deal with.
