The FBI a Beverly Hills mansion in connection with the investigation into disgraced California politician Eric Swalwell — and the raid is linked to a sex worker, a senior law enforcement official told The Post.

The Tuesday dawn raid is believed to have targeted the home of billionaire Stephen Cloobeck, who prominently backed Swalwell’s run for governor and even let him stay at his mansion in Southern California.

However, when allegations surfaced that former Congressman Swalwell sexually assaulted multiple women including former staffers, Cloobeck changed his mind and booted him out of the mansion.

“I am no longer associated with a man that takes advantage of women,” Cloobeck said. “I support women’s rights.”

Swalwell is under investigation by multiple prosecutors for the sexual assault allegations, including in New York and California.

Back in August, Swalwell was surrounded by FBI agents at San Francisco International Airport as he deboarded a plane, leading to the seizure of his cellphone and laptop as part of a federal criminal investigation.

Agents executed additional warrants the following day at Swalwell’s Washington, D.C., home, where they seized other potential evidence, a source previously told The Post.

The FBI warrant used to seize Swalwell’s phone and laptop cited a federal civil-rights statute that can be used to prosecute public officials who abuse their government power — suggesting the feds may suspect Swalwell used his official role to silence women who accused him of sexual misconduct.

One former staffer has accused Swalwell of raping her when she was too intoxicated to consent, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. Another woman has accused him of drugging and sexually assaulting her in 2018, while two others have alleged he sent them unsolicited images of his genitals.

Swalwell has denied wrongdoing, but he dropped out of the governor’s race and resigned from Congress soon after the allegations surfaced.

Cloobeck was one of Swalwell’s largest benefactors, spending over $1 million to support Swalwell’s California gubernatorial campaign, giving the maximum $39,200 direct contribution, and providing a private $31,000 trip to France in 2024.

Swalwell frequently lived and stayed out of Cloobeck’s Beverly Hills mansion, even filming a video response to misconduct allegations from inside the home.

Cloobeck himself ran for governor before dropping out to make way for Swalwell.

The benefactor, while he now disavows Swalwell, has had troubles of his own. He was about to marry a Penthouse Pet accused of stealing from rich sugar daddies before calling it off.

Cloobeck was charged with three felony counts of attempting to dissuade or prevent a witness or victim from testifying, and one misdemeanor count of making annoying phone calls.  All charges stem from his ex-partner Adva Lavie’s criminal case in which she’s accused of using dating apps to steal from rich older men.
