Former Chiefs defensive end Allen Bailey’s wife found him dead inside their Florida home on Tuesday, his brother, Alford Bailey Jr. told TMZ.

He was 37.

Bailey’s family believes he died from natural causes, according to the outlet.

Bailey spent the first eight seasons of his NFL career with the Chiefs after Kansas City selected the University of Miami product in the third round of the 2011 NFL draft.

He then played two seasons in Atlanta, appearing in 31 games before being released in 2021.

Bailey recorded 22 sacks and 248 combined tackles across 133 regular-season NFL games during his career.
