A former NFL star who attended some of President Trump’s rallies leading up to the 2024 presidential election appears to have stopped supporting him – at least on social media.
Antonio Brown, the former NFL star wide receiver, best known for his time with the Pittsburgh Steelers, has been an outspoken supporter of President Trump. Brown, who has since left the NFL, attended several of President Trump’s rallies in 2024. Brown and his former Steelers teammate, Le’Veon Bell, made headlines when they appeared together on stage at a President Trump rally in Pennsylvania in October of 2024.
“Brown has also expressed his support for Trump through memes and other messages on social media,” NJ.com noted.
“Additionally, Brown mentioned admiring Trump’s business background and his contributions to figures in the hip-hop industry, citing pardons that Trump has issued.”
But that public support appears to have stopped – for now, at least.

Brown has called out President Trump and his administration on social media, regarding the Epstein files.
The ex-NFL star responded to news about Charlie Kirk.
“Legislation is being filed in the U.S. House to place CHARLIE KIRK on 400,000 silver dollar coins in 2026. These coins would have ‘well done, good and faithful servant’ on one side, and Charlie’s face on the other side. They would be considered legal tender, and have his full name ‘Charles James Kirk,’ per Fox,” a social media post read.
Brown responded: “They’re doing literally the dumbest (expletive) you can possibly think of just to avoid releasing the Epstein files 😂”

President Trump’s problem with the NFL
While President Trump likes to watch football, he has a problem with the current state of the NFL. He’s not happy with the league’s new kickoff rules.
“Hard to watch the new NFL kickoff. It’s wrong on every level. They should end it, immediately. Bad for the game of football!” he wrote on his Truth Social platform.
The NFL has decided to stick with its new kickoff rules, though, as they provide for more returns and less injuries.
