Giannis Antetokounmpo will be sidelined for a bit.

The Bucks star is expected to miss one to two weeks with a low-grade left groin strain, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported Tuesday.

The news is good for Milwaukee, which feared for the worst when Antetokounmpo left Monday night’s game against the Cavaliers early with what was described as a groin injury.

“We won’t know anything until tomorrow. It didn’t look great, I can tell you that,” Bucks head coach Doc Rivers said after the game.

The Bucks were playing their third game in four nights when Antetokounmpo suffered the injury.

Rivers sounded more positive in an update on Tuesday.

“I don’t know what grade it is, but I know it’s not a bad one, so that’s good news for us,” Rivers said on ESPN Milwaukee. “Probably two weeks he’ll be out, hopefully less.”

Antetokounmpo has looked like his usual MVP-like self when on the court this season, averaging 31.2 points, 10.8 rebounds and 6.8 assists in 13 games.

The Bucks as a whole haven’t been quite as impressive.

Despite starting the season 4-1, Milwaukee is sitting at just 8-7, which is the ninth-best record in the Eastern Conference.

The Bucks are all in on this season — and in keeping Antetokounmpo in Milwaukee.

Over the offseason, the franchise waived Damian Lillard but stretched his contract to acquire Myles Turner, giving Antetokounmpo some much-needed frontcourt help.

The Bucks will take the court next on Thursday night against the 76ers in Milwaukee.
