Guy Fieri truly can’t get enough of Arizona dining. He recently returned to one of his favorite spots in the Valley: Giuseppe’s on 28th, a longtime Phoenix Italian restaurant, for his Food Network show “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives: Triple D Nation.”
“Triple D Nation” is a spinoff of “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” in which Fieri revisits restaurants that have previously been featured on the show. Giuseppe’s on 28th was last featured on Fieri’s show in 2009.
The restaurant will appear on season 6, episode 5, “Flavors from Afar,” which is scheduled to premiere on Food Network on Friday, Sept. 27 at 9 p.m.
“Our first feature on ‘Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives’ in 2009 was a milestone for us, and we’re excited to showcase how we’ve grown while continuing to offer the same delicious, authentic Italian cuisine our customers love,” said chef and owner Richard Bock in a statement on the restaurant’s website.

“Triple D Nation: Flavors from Afar” will premiere on Food Network at 9 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27. It will also air a second time three hours later at midnight.

Giuseppe’s on 28th is open from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays and Sundays, and 4 to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Closed Mondays.
