Hailee Steinfeld is “so proud” of what fiancé Josh Allen accomplished this season as the Bills’ 2024 campaign ended in heartache Sunday.
In a recent interview with E! News, the “Sinners” actress — who got engaged to the Bills quarterback in November — gushed over Allen, whose Bills fell to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game in what was a record-smashing season for the MVP candidate.
“To say the least, I am so proud of that man,” Steinfeld, 28, said. “Everything he’s done and everything that the team has done together, he is the hardest working person I know.”
In the weeks leading up to the Bills’ playoff push, the 28-year-old Allen broke a record previously set by Russell Wilson for most wins (75) in a regular season by a quarterback in the first seven years in the league.
Allen got his 76th win with the Bills’ 40-14 victory over the Jets on Dec. 29.
Allen and the second-seeded Bills were on the verge of a Super Bowl berth before being thwarted by the Chiefs in a 32-29 thriller at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday night.
Kansas City, chasing Super Bowl history with the chance to be the first team to ever three-peat, will face the Eagles on Feb. 9 in a rematch of Super Bowl 2023. The Chiefs won that contest, 38-35.
Despite a heartbreaking end to the season, Allen will certainly remember the triumphs throughout.
The former first-round pick has leaned on Steinfeld during what’s been an MVP-caliber season, telling the Associated Press in December how “she’s been a huge part” of his success.
“The morale, the support. When I get home, she’s my biggest fan, my biggest supporter. She’s just the best,” Allen said.
Steinfeld, who was first linked to Allen in the spring of 2023, cheered on the Bills with fellow Buffalo WAGs during the team’s wild-card win over the Broncos earlier this month.
She’s set to appear in a Super Bowl 2025 ad for Novartis that promotes the importance of screenings in raising awareness about breast cancer.
