Heather Rae El Moussa has been working to remedy her gut health — and the results are ab-tastic.

“Honestly, after my baby I struggled with bloating & I never had before,” El Moussa, 37, revealed via Instagram on Thursday, November 7. “Healing my gut changed everything.”

The former Selling Sunset star shared a before photo of her abs with fans, showing a softer and more bloated belly. In her “after” photo, El Moussa was seen sporting a tighter stomach and the outline of her abs were visible.

El Moussa, who welcomed her son, Tristan, in January 2023, broke down her exact routine to a toner abdomen, which includes taking two Rest PM Gut Cleanse pills every evening.

“I swear by these,” she said of the supplement, noting that both she and husband Tarek El Moussa are “obsessed” with the cleanse.

When it comes to her morning routine, Heather said she takes a probiotic and electrolytes with her water.

The Flip Off star shared that she has also been “limiting gluten, limiting soy (a lot of vegan food contains a lot of soy), and daily walks in the AM with Tristan improved my digestion so much!”

After getting questions from her fans about her workouts, Heather sounded off in a series of Instagram Stories.

“I walk daily with Tristan [and] I work out with my trainer @paulinastein 4 days per week,” she shared on Thursday, referring to her fitness trainer Paulina Hefferan.

Heather said that her “weekly goal” is two days of strength training — one lower and one upper body day — as well as one day of core and pelvic floor exercises and one day of Pilates sculpt.

“Heather is a petite person. She’s tall, she’s petite — that’s just her shape,” Hefferan explained in her own Instagram Story on Thursday, sharing that they’ve been “working on adding more muscle” and “more calories” while “prioritizing protein.”

The celebrity trainer said that while “Heather used to fear carbs” she is now eating them “all the time.” Hefferan shared that Heather’s fitness plan is catered to “lots of weights,” adding that the reality star “rarely does cardio.”

Heather, meanwhile, told her followers that she works out between three and four times a week depending on her schedule. “I work out right from my living room, which makes it easier with Tristan and work,” she wrote via her Instagram Story.

The workouts “range” in length according to the HGTV star, who says they can be anywhere from a 20-minute walk with her son to an hour-long training session.

Since Heather is vegan, she has had to learn how to up her protein intake without increasing the amount of soy she consumes. She told her fans she eats “lots of veggies.”

“I try and limit processed foods. I eat a lot of fresh food like lentils, beans, quinoa, rice, hummus, etc,” she revealed, adding that she doesn’t drink coffee but she does “love my matcha.”
