According to WWD’s report, the singer was the top red carpet female celebrity of 2024 based on Launchmetrics’ data analysis. The outlet reveals that the pop singer’s red carpet looks generated a whopping $319. 2 million in Media Impact Value (MIV). Meanwhile, Billie Eilish ranked second with a total of $167.3 in MIV.

According to Launchmetrics’ data reported by WWD, Taylor Swift is 2024’s top red carpet celebrity (female). Her red carpet looks generated $319.2 million in MIV over her appearance in association with a total of six shows throughout the year. These include Grammy Awards, Golden Globe Awards, Oscars, Critics Choice Awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards, and Emmy Awards.

For those unaware, Launchmetrics developed MIV as a metric that adds monetary value to marketing strategies across different media channels to calculate Return on Investment (ROI). Swift’s attendance at the award shows wearing renowned brands has resulted in a significantly high ROI, contributing to the top title for the artist. Despite being on her Eras Tour for most of the year, the pop star managed to make showstopping red carpet appearances in brands like Dior, Gucci, and more.

For the 2024 Grammy Awards, Swift wore a custom Schiaparelli gown, which garnered $6.8 million in MIV for the luxury fashion house. Her custom Sabato de Sarno-designed Gucci dress at the Golden Globe Awards, her Dior outfit for MTV VMAs, and more have also played a part in generating huge ROI for these brands.  WWD further reported that the Dion Lee corset top and Area’s crystal slit jeans she donned for Super Bowl LVIII generated $1.8 million in MIV for Dion Lee, Meanwhile, it earned Area of $281,000.

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour has also been a huge contributing factor in brands achieving a high ROI. The record-breaking concert tour aided media exposure for high fashion brands like Versace, which earned $6.3 million in MIV.
