Could Joe Flacco be poised to complete his AFC North tour?

Speaking recently on “The Bmore Football Podcast,” the 41-year-old quarterback — who won a Super Bowl during his 11-year run with the Ravens and played for both the Browns and Bengals this season — was asked about the possibility of suiting up for the Steelers, the one AFC North franchise he has yet to play for.

“I do think that having a Pittsburgh Steelers jersey on will be a little bit more strange than even a Browns or Bengals jersey, for whatever reason,” Flacco said this week. “But at this point, I’m open to pretty much most things if I can see an opportunity in it.”

Flacco, who won Super Bowl 2013 with the Ravens, signed up for a second stint with the Browns in free agency last year.

He was benched for rookie Dillon Gabriel in October — the same month he was traded to the Bengals amid Joe Burrow’s toe injury.

Flacco threw for 2,479 yards in 13 games between the Browns and Bengals, tossing 15 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

“I play football because I love it. It is a job of mine, and if somebody’s hiring me, I think that’s a pretty big deal,” Flacco said on the podcast. “But at the same time, like, I love playing football! And if people are going to give me an opportunity to do that, then yeah — like, you can’t necessarily let your personal feelings on an organization, just from an outsider’s perspective, get in the way of a professional decision. I think it would be strange.”

Flacco and the Bengals won their first match against the Steelers on Oct. 16, 33-31, before dropping a Nov. 16 clash, 34-12.

The Steelers welcomed fellow veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers into the fold in 2025 and reached the wild-card round of the playoffs. They were then throttled by the Texans, 30-6.

Although it remains to be seen if Rodgers, 42, will return to Pittsburgh, whoever is under center will have a new coach in Mike McCarthy.

McCarthy, who won a Super Bowl with Rodgers in Green Bay, will succeed Mike Tomlin, who resigned from his post this month after 19 seasons.

McCarthy most recently coached the Cowboys from 2020 to 24.
