The New York Knicks front office had a busy offseason.
After a whirlwind 2023-24 that ended in a heartbreaking seven-game Eastern Conference Semifinals series loss against the Pacers, the team traded for buzzy stars Mikal Bridges and Karl-Anthony Towns.
They’ll round out a starting five that features All-Star captain Jalen Brunson, spark plug Josh Hart and OG Anunoby, the owner of the largest contract in Knicks history.
With a title in their sights, the Knicks still know they have work to do if they want to win their first Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy in 52 years.
“You’re never content,” coach Tom Thibodeau said in a press conference when asked about the roster changes. “You always want to try to improve, so when opportunities present themselves and you feel like it can improve the team, you want to try to take advantage of that.”
