Looking for a fun way to spend your summer days in Rochester without breaking the bank?
Seabreeze Amusement Park has been a staple in Irondequoit for almost 144 years. A less than 20-minute drive from the city of Rochester, Seabreeze is the fourth-oldest operating amusement park in the country and the 12th-oldest in the world, according to the National Amusement Park Historical Association. And its legendary Jack Rabbit is the oldest continuously operating roller coaster in the United States.
The park is open 11 a.m.-8 p.m. during the week — Monday through Friday — and 11 a.m.-9 p.m. on weekends.
Here’s how much you’d typically spend during a visit to the park.
How much does admission to the park cost?
‘Ride and slide’ tickets or admission to both the amusement park and water park portion are $42.99 per person. However, on the weekdays — Monday through Friday — you can get discounted tickets for $37.99 apiece, if you buy the tickets online.
Seabreeze offers free parking and MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express are accepted online, at the admission gates and at many places throughout the park. However, it’s good to have some cash on hand if you’re planning on playing any of the arcade games Seabreeze offers.
How much does food cost?
Combo meals — which typically include your choice of a burger, hot dog, chicken, sausage or cheesesteak with fries and a regular drink — are often between $15.25 and $18.25. If you just want the sandwich, you’ll likely spend between $7.25 and $10.25, and most salads are $10.
Chicken ‘N’ Fries’ prices are a little lower. Combo meals here — which include your choice of tenders or boneless wings with fries and a regular drink — are between $14.50 and $17.50. Tenders or boneless wings sans the fries are $9.
Seabreeze offers whole pizzas or by the slice, too. Pizza slices are $5, pizza slice combos with a drink and cookie are $11.25 and pizzas to feed the entire family are between $28 and $30.
If side options like fries or onion rings are more your jam, they cost anywhere from $2.25 to $11.25, depending on what you’re in the mood for. Some food vendors offer other snacks like nachos for $6.75, pretzels with cheese for $7 and cotton candy for $7.50.
Regular-size drinks are $4.25 and $4.75 for a large throughout the park and bottles of water are $3.75 or two for $6.50.
For those with a sweet tooth, there are multiple dessert options throughout the park, including:

How much extra are arcade games?
If you’re a lover of competition, it’s possible to get carried away with how much you spend at the multitude of arcade games the park offers.
The game prices fall between $2-5 per person. For example, Shooting Waters requires a minimum of two players each time for $3 a person and Ring Toss offers 12 rings for $2 or a bucket of 50 rings for $5. However, some games hand out prizes every time and allow you to trade up for a larger prize next time you win.
