Coming into the week 13 showdown at Arlington’s AT&T Stadium on Nov. 28, the NFC East rivals sit at the bottom of the division — Mike McCarthy’s club is in third place with a 4-7 record and Brian Daboll’s squad brings up the rear with a 2-9 record.
This downturn comes as a bit of a surprise for America’s Team. Prior to the regular season, the New York Post predicted they were the NFL’s 14th best team in their annual power rankings. Unfortunately, the year hasn’t shaken out quite as planned and franchise quarterback Dak Prescott is sitting out for the rest of the 2024-25 season. Backup Cooper Rush has since taken his place and just won for the first time against the Commanders on Sunday.
As of now, they’re 0-5 at home.
Daboll’s Giants have had a similarly frustrating go at it these past few months. Ahead of week 12, Big Blue dropped quarterback Daniel Jones. His replacement Tommy DeVito went 21-31 and threw for 189 yards but ultimately fell 30-7 to the Buccaneers in his first start of the season. Drew Lock will likely start on Thanksgiving for the Giants.
