This upcoming 2024 presidential election appears to be one of the most important in the history of our country.

You have heard that there are two sides to every coin. Well, we certainly have two different sides to choose from in this election. I would encourage us to be open-minded and listen to both candidates’ sides.

More: Donald Trump had a very low bar for this debate. He was still a disaster.

As I see it, one must listen and watch different news media and networks to understand “both-sides-of-the-(coin) issues,” the candidates’ policies and track records, what they stand for and have accomplished, and policies they voted against in the past.

A person’s character is demonstrated by actions he or she has taken in the past. The person chosen to lead this great nation should be of strong character, be able to make wise decisions, and be respected by our allies and feared by our adversaries. One should examine the candidates not only on the basis of what they say or promise, but also on who they really are.

Every candidate has a history, a track record, that shows the real person. And that’s what one must look for in choosing this country’s commander- in-chief, not based on their looks or their failed policies, but on their leadership abilities and accomplishments.

For our beloved country, the safety for our children and for generations to come, I trust we all will make good decisions this coming election based on the above qualifications.

May God continue to bless the United States of America.
