Influencer Maia Knight revealed she suffered a miscarriage after getting pregnant five and a half months postpartum.

“I am currently having a miscarriage,” Knight, 29, said in a video shared via Instagram on Wednesday, February 25, while sitting in her car. “Those are words that I wish I never had to f***ing say, but here we are. I was six weeks and two days. I started bleeding, went to the ER and that was two days ago.”

Knight explained she needed to go get her HCG tested following the heartbreaking loss. (HCG is a hormone produced by the placenta during pregnancy that helps thicken your uterine lining to support a fetus and signals your body to stop menstruating, per Cleveland Clinic.)

“That’s where we’re at,” she said. “I’m just trying to stay busy and keep it out of my mind. But yeah, it’s sad, obviously. I wasn’t even going to come get labs because I already know what’s happening. I just went grocery shopping, and I was driving by the lab, and I’m by myself, so I just decided to stop.”

Elsewhere in the video, Knight documented finding out she was pregnant before the miscarriage. She explained she was five and a half months postpartum from baby No. 3 and was experiencing symptoms of her past pregnancies like gum sensitivity, bleeding while flossing, “raging” headaches and exhaustion. (Knight welcomed a baby with husband Jake in July 2025 and shares twin daughters Violet and Scout, 4, with a previous partner.)

Knight took two pregnancy tests in the video, exclaiming, “Oh my f***ing God … I’m literally shaking. I f***king knew it,” after receiving a positive result.

In the comments section of the post, Knight’s friends and fans showed their support after the pregnancy loss.

“I’m so sorry Maia..sending you and your family so much love 🥺❤️‍🩹,” one person wrote, while a second person said, “From a miscarriage mom to miscarriage mom sending you the biggest hugs ❤️❤️❤️.”

“I am so sorry. Like we all say it’s a club none of us ever wanted to be apart of,” said a third person, while a fourth wrote, “You are not alone. Sending so much love to you. I had two back to back and it is heartbreaking to experience. You and Jake will get through this together ❤️.”

Hours after posting the video, Knight thanked her supporters via her Instagram Stories.

“Reading all your comments and dms and so thankful for you guys and this community,” she wrote. “I am so sorry to anyone out there who has felt this kind of loss and you’re not alone.”

Knight announced the birth of her third child last summer, sharing photos and videos of the little one meeting the twins via her social media accounts. In September 2025, Knight posted a video via Instagram from her child’s birth, praising her husband for being by her side in the hospital. “No thing defines a man like love that makes him soft….and sentimental,” she captioned the video.
