Influencer Mikayla Nogueira is sharing subtle insight into how she’s feeling since announcing her divorce from Cody Hawken.

The beauty guru, 27, took to Instagram on Monday, February 16, to share a selfie with a soft smile while going makeup-free. “My skin is STRESSED,” she captioned the pic, zooming in on blemishes. “My gosh.”

In another selfie, Nogueira shared that she was planning to do a “mask” soon to try and calm her skin.

Nogueira’s selfie comes after she announced her divorce from Hawkens, with whom she tied the knot with in July 2023 via TikTok on February 12.

“I want to start this video by saying I appreciate you and I love you and you’re going to want to be sitting down for this video. I am getting a divorce. Take a minute, take it in. I am getting a divorce,” she said. “Cody and I love each other so much. We love each other so much. We would do anything literally for each other. I want you to know that. I’m not going to be sharing any details whatsoever as to why Cody and I have made this decision.”

She went on to say that she and Hawkens “both want to heal” and “deserve” to heal. “This is an extremely s****y thing. No one gets married to get a divorce. Absolutely no one,” she said.

Nogueira also noted that their decision was “very amicable” and they still “talk every day.”

“He and I were together for five years, married for two and they are some of the best memories of my life,” Nogueira said. “Memories that I will cherish forever. And I do not regret a single thing, nor does Cody. I know there is going to be so much speculation as to why Cody and I are getting a divorce, but I want to guarantee you that no amount of speculation, no one claiming they know why we are getting a divorce, no video from a tea page or a drama channel, knows why Cody and I made this decision. The only people who know why Cody and I made this decision is Cody and I. I just want to make that very, very clear.”

Nogueira added that their split was not because of Hawkens’ addiction struggles. “Second thing I’m going to ask is — Cody and I have been very open with his struggles with addiction — and I’m going to ask you if you can please leave that out of the conversation. They are two separate things,” she explained. “It is hard enough as it is to be an addict and to struggle to stay sober.”

Nogueira then shared that she and Hawken actually made the decision to split “last year,” and said she’s “spent the last few months processing” it.

“A lot of crying, a lot of talking to family [and] friends, therapy, everything you can think of to get to a place where I can make this video,” Nogueira said.

Nogueira previously got candid about Hawken’s addiction struggles in April 2024. She shared that “in January 2024, [he] relapsed on drugs,” and alcohol in April of that year.

“Sobriety, recovery is not linear. Relapsing is part of the recovery process,” Nogueira said in a TikTok at the time. Later that month, he completed rehab and assured Nogueira that “everything [was] going to be OK.”
