Woods and Trump, who both live in Florida, were first spotted together at a golf tournament in February 2025. The pair had reportedly been quietly dating since Thanksgiving 2024 and connected over their children, who attend the same school. March 2025
Weeks after the golf tournament, multiple reports claimed that Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump had been dating for several months. Woods confirmed the relationship by sharing photos of himself snuggling up to Vanessa via X and Instagram.
“Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side!” he captioned the post. “We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts.”
The couple received support from Vanessa’s family, including President Donald Trump, Donald’s daughter Ivanka Trump and Donald Jr.’s now-fiancée, Bettina Anderson.
“Beautiful couple,” Anderson commented on the Instagram post. “So happy for you both.”
Meanwhile, Donald told a reporter, “Tiger actually called me a few months ago. And he told me about it, and I said, ‘Tiger, that’s good, that’s good.’ I’m very happy for both. Let them both be happy. Let them both be happy. They’re both great.”

Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump packed on PDA at the TGL Finals in Florida. Before taking a swing, Woods gave Vanessa a kiss on the cheek as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders. Vanessa’s daughters, Kai and Chloe, were also in attendance.
Later that month, Woods was involved in a rollover car crash and charged with a DUI, property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test. The athlete was booked at Martin County Jail in Stuart, Florida, and subsequently released on bail.
Woods was behind the wheel of a Land Rover when he clipped a pickup truck pulling a small trailer, Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek confirmed. The impact caused Woods’ SUV to roll on its side.
“[Woods] was careful in what he said and didn’t say,” Budensiek said. “Woods did a breathalyzer test, blew triple zeros, but when it came time for us to ask for a urinalysis test, he refused, and so he’s been charged with DUI.”
President Donald Trump responded to the arrest by telling reporters, “I feel so bad. He’s got some difficulty. There was an accident, and that’s all I know. A very close friend of mine, he’s an amazing person, an amazing man. But some difficulty. I don’t want to talk about it.”
